LCDL continuously initiates independent design research and experiments. Our research often begins with things that already exist in everyday life—objects, behaviors, language, or familiar ways of use. Through appropriation, transformation, reconfiguration, and shifts in context, we explore new ways of seeing and understanding them, reconsidering their functions, contexts, and possibilities.
